Development of the design for the conceptual, technical and economic appraisal of different options
Analysis and up-dating of sector relevant information (SWOT analysis) - field mission
Development of a partner and target group oriented impact logic with the definition of objectives, indicators and activities
Definition of the contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the Agenda 2030, considering the three dimensions of sustainability

Mid-term and final evaluations according to international standards on the basis of the OECD-DAC criteria relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability as well as the capacity WORKS success factors strategy, cooperation, steering, processes and learning & innovation:

Development of an appraisal design
Desk study of the available project relevant documents, reports, studies as well as partner country and sector information
Mission on-site for interviews with key stakeholders (partner institutions, representatives of the target groups, other German and international cooperation projects and donors, civil society, private sector, research institutes etc.) on the basis of questionnaires (quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis)
Crosschecking of the results in the frame of field visits and interactive workshops with the local target groups (triangulation of data and methods)
Consultation of the evaluation results with key stakeholders in the frame of workshops (stakeholder involvement and contribution analysis)
Reporting in the requested formats and languages

Moderation of

Workshops during and at the end of appraisal missions
Planning processes with the partners on-site (operational planning workshops)

Training

Development of individual trainings concepts, programs, manuals and materials for different target groups
Preparation and implementation of training modules with practical application, e.g. in the frame of company visits
